VERSANTE Red Wine Primitivo I.G.P. Salento

The line takes its name from the Adriatic side, where the Vallone vineyards extend. The typical colors of the Adriatic coast composed of the intense blue of the sea and the continuous alternation of the golden green of the olive leaves moved by the wind.

Here in these few words is contained the spirit of the Versante Vallone. Unmistakable dark red with violet reflections, from the trendiest grape variety in Puglia, an enveloping wine that is easy to approach.

Winemaking technique

Soft de-stemming and pressing, temperature-
controlled fermentation and post-fermentation maceration in heat-conditioned stainless-steel tanks for a period of approximately 15 days, after which follows the spontaneous malolactic fermentation.

Aging in stainless-steel: for 6 months

Aging in bottle: 1 month

Organoleptic characteristics

Colour: intense ruby with violet reflections,bright.
Aroma: hints of red fruits, above all sour black cherry and plum, long taste-smell intensity.
Taste: fine and elegant with tannic presence, fresh, soft and balanced.
